This unique route will take you to more than 3000 years ago BC, where there was a mountain sanctuary with thousands of rock paintings, according to the plan of their creators, adorned the pagan temple of the Sun. Tamgaly is located 170 km northwest of Almaty and is located in the south-eastern part of the Chu-Ili Mountains, extending from the south to the north of the Trans-Ili Alatau to the lake Balkhash and the Betpak-Dala Desert. In the "gallery" under the open sky there are more than 2700 drawings. There are Saki and Turkic drawings, but the most mysterious were made in the era of developed bronze.
